During "Ride of the Fantasy Vans", Chuck mentions he's defended his crown through 48 consecutive weekends.
A few weeks later, the entire LARPING community decides to lay down their swords and celebrate a full year under the reign of King Chuck the Vanquisher with a medieval-style faire. Dancing, food, games/contests, the whole shebang. Chuck had no idea they were doing it, or that Ruby and Thurman had invited the other Burners to the party.
The guys wind up enjoying the faire more than they expected, but what they really didn't expect was to hear all these great stories about Chuck from the LARPers, be it his battle strategies, breaking up fights that were getting too real, or pausing the game when one of them was really hurt (or whatever other scenarios the writer can think up).
Even on different teams, all of them genuinely like/respect their King.
Bonuses For:
- The Burners sharing their own stories of King Chuck's greatness with the LARPers.
- Chuck was actually thinking of vacating the throne "to give someone else a chance."
