I'd like to mention if I ever make a mistake with the relationship labels on a post (for example, sometimes it's hard to differentiate between a romantic and platonic relationship in a fill) please let me know and I'll fix it as soon as I'm able!

Because this is something no one seems to bring up, but Texas insults his friends a lot. Not ever to be malicious or anything like that he usually just teases them to show affection. However even when you don't mean it in a bad way it still comes off as that.

But basically, Sentinels are people with super-heightened senses. They can go into a zone, a catatonic state if they're too hyperfocused on the senses that they lose their minds. ~~I bet Mike strikes you as a Sentinel, eh? eh?~~~

As for Guides - as explained by a friend of mine - "The way most AUs play it, Sentinels use their Guides as a sort of consistant baseline for their senses, a way to be reminded where 'normal' was when they were spiking or zoning, and also to basically talk them down when one of those spikes or zones occurs. A lot of AUs also have the Guides playing the role of mediator, the only ones who can reach a Sentinel when they're deep in instinct-mode".

Sentinel AUs, like the Omegaverse, are constant in some aspects but mostly different in how it's written out (history, kinds of sentinels, kinds of guides, etc). It's all up to you, dear anonymous writer, to decide.
