So I was inspired by some fics and I can up with the idea that Mike has a crush on Chuck and at some point (prompted by a fellow Burner or not) decides to tell him.
However, Chuck never thought of him that way and Mike's pretty devastated but doesn't want to ruin their friendship so everything goes back to "normal"
After awhile, whether it be over weeks or months, Chuck starts to develop mutual feelings for Mike but isn't sure if Mike still feels the same way and feels guilty for breaking his heart before.
But of course they get together at the end because who doesn't want them to have a happy ending?
Bonus for some crying Mike (I have a weak spot for it)
This can go super angsty if you want or super fluffy and awkward, or both!
